They saved my cats life when the ER vet failed to diagnose her correctly. They fit us in and immediately did an xray and found the problem. After treating her she is now so much better, I went from tears of distress to tears of happiness. She went from not eating, not drinking, not moving, back to her normal self within a couple hours after her visit. She is eating and drinking again, walking around and “talking”. Thank you so much!

From the minute you walk in the door the front staff are welcoming and helpful! Scented candles make the office smell great! Got to an examination room quickly! Vet tech super nice and Dr Scott is terrific! Our pup trembles with anxiety so Dr Scott made quick work of the visit to ease our guy but not rushed us by any means! He answered all our questions and provided great information on Mac’s health and advice on caring for his anxiety!

The facility is pristine and comfortable; some Vet offices do not smell good but this one is just like a human doctor's office. Staff is very efficient and friendly at this very busy practice. My very sick older cat was treated very well and his serious condition was explained thoroughly and thoughtfully. It’s obvious the staff is compassionate and well trained. I watched many animals come and go as I waited and all interactions were positive and happy. Highly recommend. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Branning.

We brought in a dog for a person who had been hospitalized. The dog was in a horrible state of neglect. Dr Martens was SO kind and nonjudgmental and started her on her road to recovery. We are so grateful.

We’ve been with Hamburg Vet for many years. I just wanted to hop on and thank Dr. Branning (and the entire team) for their impeccable knowledge and immense compassion. We were blindsided by a tragic diagnosis for our young Chocolate Labrador, Marshall and made the devastating, albeit merciful decision to put him to rest. Dr. Branning’s presence provided comfort to my entire family.. This loss is going to sting for a long time, but I will always recommend this practice hands-down. Thanks again 🙏🌈

I came into this place today, 12/3/25. I had a very very sick boy cat, Blackie. He was in horrible condition so we decided to put him down, mind u, we decided this two hours before we came here. They were so incredibly compassionate and sympathetic, they worked with our timing and emotions. It really did help, especially with what i was feeling. One thing that i love is people doing jobs they’re good at, especially emotionally. I had one lady, who seemed young and maybe new, she came in on her own, she was not sent to us. She came to me personally to give me props for being so young (17) and being able to handle this with just my brother and i. She gave me a hug and said some very sweet things, please give her a raise or something, she didn’t have to do that and she did. I adore the staff i encountered today during this really rough time, thank you so much.

I was first sent to Hamburg because I needed a surgeon for my dog's ACL. Dr. Scott was an amazing surgeon and 8 years later, with both ACLs repaired, my dog is still going strong at almost 13. He's also repaired my cat's broken leg, and cared for my pets with cancer, and when it came time to say goodbye. He's made all of these experiences as easy as they could possibly have been. When you lose a pet, Hamburg helps by giving you wonderful support. The front dest is compassionate as are all the vets and techs. You have as much time as you need with your pet. I really love this practice, and I travel past 3 or 4 other more convenient vets in order to use them. I highly recommend them.

I recently brought my cat Oscar to the Hamburg veterinary . He is a young cat who has stolen my heart. Here the staff of the Hamburg veterinary were so very supportive and kind to me . They showed great care to Oscar. When you are faced with the possibility of loosing a pet that means so much to you comfort and compassion is what you need and deserve. I found both here. Thank you for taking such good care of Oscar we both are happy he's home and on the mend. A special thanks to : Dr Branning, Lex, Ashley, Tegan, Rachel, and Sarah.

Dr. Jackie is great. She is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. She made me feel comfortable with my decisions before deciding on surgery. My dog is doing well thanks to her!

We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Precious, and while the grief is still raw, i didnt want to wait any longer to thank the amazing team at the Hamburg Vet Clinic. Precious was a reactive dog and over the years we saw many vets together who didnt understand her and some who werent kind and patient with her. Finding the Hamburg Vet clinic was a turning point. Dr Martens, Dr Jackie and vet tech Lucy treated Precious with the patience, understanding and respect she always deserved. In her final days, the compassion they showed made all the difference. They gave her peace and gave us comfort in a moment we werent ready for. They didnt rush us, judge us or treat her like just another case. They treated her like family. Thank you for giving Precious dignity in her last moments and for helping us say goodbye with love instead of fear. We will never forget your kindness. We miss her everyday <3
